David Seaman, 58 of Decatur passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Private family services will be held. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family.
David was born in Medina, New York the son of the late Gertrude “Dolly” Palmer in September of 1958. He lived many years in Lockport, N.Y., Erie, PA. ,and then Decatur, IL .David was a foreman for Mantelli RV’s in Lockport, N.Y. in his younger years. David loved photography, fishing and listening to relaxing Indian music. In his later years he could no longer fish or do much photography because of a back injury and developing stage 4 COPD.
David leaves behind his wife, Debbie, his son, Travis Seaman of Erie, PA., and his fiancée Shirley Rossborough, his daughter, Jennifer Seaman of Beloit, WI, three grandchildren, Dymond Rossborough, Sebastian Seaman, and Isaac Seaman, two brothers, Joe Lorence and his life partner Kyle, and Robert Palmer. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, step-daughter, Tammy Emberton, step-granddaughters, Tori Taylor and Kindra Shore, step-grandsons, Gage Emberton, Skyler Taylor and Glyde Martin.
