Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements.

Jackie was born in November of 1920 in Cerro Gordo, Illinois, the daughter of Gerald and Norma Jackson.  She married Odell P. Nettleship in March of 1942 in St. Louis, Mo.  She and her husband worked at a bomber factory in Ann Arbor, Michigan during WWII.  It was during this time her first child, Linda was born.  She then had twin girls, Jody and Judy and a few years later had a son, Lester and a daughter, Kerin Kay.

Jackie and her husband traveled to all of the states and many foreign countries with their friend, Rev. Sylvia Erickson as they visited mission stations, spreading the love of her Saviour, Jesus. Jackie was a beauty operator for 50 years, assisted her husband in their business, Del’s Auto Supply and even owned her own gas station, Jackie’s Northtown Shell.  She was a very talented in quilting, ceramics, painting, and many other crafts.  She also enjoyed being on a bowling team well in to her 70s.

She demonstrated her love for Christ in a tangible way, working the mission field and at her local church.  Jackie was very active as a member of Life Foursquare Church as a Sunday school teacher, UFW president and deaconess.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Benner of Decatur, Judy Davis and husband Jack of St. Charles, MO, and Jody Thornton of Port Washington, WI; daughter in law Susan Nettleship of Decatur; brothers Loren Jackson and wife Faye of Decatur and Galen Tully and wife LeAnne of Arthur;  10-grandchildren; 25-great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Odell, son Lester, daughter Kerin Kay, brother Dale, sons in law David and John, grandson Robbie, granddaughter April and great grandson Joseph.

Although we are sad at her home-going we know Jackie is finally meeting Jesus face to face.
