Frances Mae Murray, 91, of Macon died at 6:01 am Monday (February 25, 2022).
Frances was born in August of 1930, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Hallie McQuality and Violet Helen Rebecca McQuality. Frances married Edward M. Murray of Macon in August of 1947, who preceded her in death in 2005.
Frances was a loving, caring, patient mother of seven children. For many years Frances worked at Eastern Star Home of Macon, and the U.S. Postal Services.
Surviving are her two sisters, Marcella Thomas and Anna McQuality; sons. Timothy E. Murray of Macon, Grady T. Murray and wife Paula Murray of Lovington, Robert H. Murray and wife Candice Murray of Moweaqua; daughters, Sharon A Grobelny and husband Robert Grobelny of Decatur, Patricia M. Rhoades and husband Michael Rhoades of Schram City, Connie F. Myers and husband Todd Myers of Moweaqua; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; husband; son John M. Murray; three brothers; one sister; and one great grandchild.
Frances lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker, and custodian worker. Most of all she loved her family and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
