On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 8:46 PM, Jesus reached out his hand, and said “come with me my good, and faithful servant.” Larry took his hand, with a clip in his step, a smile on his face, and a twinkle in his eye, and went with Jesus to his eternal home.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Cheryl of 57 years, his daughter, Tami (Robert) Mudd, of Sullivan, Il., son, Tim (Amy) Tanzyus, Kansas City, Mo. three wonderful grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan) Barton, Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, Brock (Jessie) Underwood, Staten Island, N.Y., Tyler Tanzyus, and friend Neena, St. Louis, Mo. two, great- grandchildren, that are the “apple of his eyes” Layla and Jack Barton. Along with many, many friends that he loved and enjoyed.
His favorite hobby was fishing along with helping others. He enjoyed volunteering on the grounds at Mason Point, his yard work, having fun, and bantering with the guys. He was a real jokester, always a smile on his face, with a great love for God, and especially for his family.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you wear a mask, wash your hands, and practice safe social distancing.
At this time there will be no memorial service, but there will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date.
Thank you to St. Mary’s Hospital ICU, all their compassionate staff, and Doctors who helped us through this difficult time.
Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with the arrangements.
