Mark Bryon Foil, age 64, passed away suddenly at his residence in Princeton, Indiana. 

Mark was born in June 1958 in Taylorville, Illinois to the late Ronald “Rod” and Ramona Foil.  He married Barbara Anderson in November of 1993.

Mark was a graduate of Taylorville High School. He received his Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri and his Bachelor Degree in Bible Online Studies.  Mark worked for Prairie Farms Dairy for over 40 years.  He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  Mark’s greatest loves were God and his family.

Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara of Princeton, Indiana; children: Stacy and Pete Johnson of Olney, Illinois, Mark and Lacey Foil of Shelbyville, Illinois, Suzanne and Dayne McGlad Foil of Mt. Zion, Illinois, Byron and Joanna Foil of Champaign, Illinois. Stepsons: Eric and Brandie Watrous of Atlanta, Georgia and Craig and Tiffany Watrous of Three Rivers, Michigan.  Grandchildren: Bailey and Jordan Cox, Haven and Brandon Smith, Riley Foil, Brylen Watrous, Markie Foil, Tucker Foil, M.J. Johnson, Foster Johnson, Taylor Foil, Tucker Konieczny, Remington Watrous, Hunter Watrous, Oliver Konieczny, Bennett Foil.  Great-grandchildren: Parker and Breeland Cox and Navy Foil-Runyon.

Brothers:  James and Ann Foil of Breckenridge, Colorado and Daniel and Jacqueline Foil of Taylorville, Illinois.  Nieces:  Shannon and Jay Jefferies, Whitney and Stile Smith.  Nephews:  Jason Foil, Joshua Foil and Alex Foil.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Kevin D. Foil and grandparents Dennis and Ina Hafliger, Sidney and Adelaide Foil.

A Visitation and Funeral Service Celebrating Mark’s life will be Thursday morning, July 21st at Tabernacle Baptist Church (650 North Wyckles Road, Decatur, Illinois  62522).  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the service beginning at 11:00 am.  Pastor Stephen Freels, officiating.  Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. 

Memorials in Mark’s honor may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or American Heart Association.
