Mary Ann Vallandingham, 85 of Decatur died 8:55 am. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.
There will be no funeral service. An open house will be held at a later date for family and friends.
Mary Ann was born in February of 1935 in Charleston, Illinois daughter of Earl and Della Smyser. She retired from True Value Hardware. Mary Ann married Charles “Bud” W. Vallandingham in December of 1960.
Surviving are her husband Charles “Bud” Vallandingham, sons, Kirk (Colleen) Vallandingham of Decatur, Kevin (Lynda) Vallandingham of New Zealand, daughter, Tina (Wayne) Perrine of Findlay, grandchildren, Arica, Isaiah, Jordan (Liz), Kali (Kenny), Jonas, Hunter (Jobana), Maddie, Parker, Reese, Drue, one great grandson, Otto and one great granddaughter on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and one granddaughter Amber.
Mary Ann loved feeding her squirrels chocolate chip cookies and watching her Westerns. She enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports. Her sassy spunky attitude will be deeply missed.
