Angeline "Angie" Cook

Angeline "Angie" Marie Cook, 61, of Decatur died Tuesday, April 23, 2024, peacefully in her home.

A Graveside Service celebrating Angie’s life will be held Monday, April 29, 2024, at 11:00 at Macon County Memorial Park in Harristown, Illinois. Memorials may be made out to the charity of donor’s choice. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. Angeline was born in Decatur, Illinois in August of 1962, to Robert and Ruth Ann Oyler. Angie graduated from Mt. Zion Highschool, the Class of 1980. Angie then went on to become an Optometrist, working in her chosen field for 30 plus years. She married Allan Cook in July of 2001. She loved spending her time with her family, enjoyed traveling, delighted in seeing the ocean and collecting sea-shells. Angie will truly be missed for her beautiful smile and the love that she gave.

Angie is survived by her husband, Allan Cook; sons Justin (Carrie) Oyler, Axel Cook, daughter Shelby Cook, grandchildren Jordyn Oyler, Easton Mateer, August Cook, her parents Robert and Ruth Ann Oyler, brothers Gerald Oyler, Rodney (Sherry) Oyler, Bobby Oyler; sisters Dianna (Edward) Wall, Kimberly Fleming and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her grandparents.
