Betty Louise (Harris) Kelly, 90, of Decatur, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.\nBetty was born in November of 1928 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Troy Harris and Elizabeth Parks. She married Robert L. Kelly Sr. in 1946. He is deceased.\nBetty worked as a homemaker for most of her life. She was proud of her four children.\nShe leaves to cherish one son, Steve and his wife, Patty Kelly of Decatur and one daughter, Teresa and her husband Rick Hobbs of Mundelein, IL. Betty leaves a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.\nBetty was preceded by her husband, and two sons: Robert L. Kelly Jr. and Donald Kelly.\nA couple of things she enjoyed were volunteer work and going to St. Mary’s Adult Day Care Center where she was loved. She was very fun loving.\nBetty lived with her granddaughter, Jamie (Kelly) White and her husband, Vincent White for ten years until she passed.\nWe would like to thank Nicki Grider as she was a wonderful person to her and our family. She always took very good care of Grandma.\nA small graveside service will be held at a later date for family and friends. Any memorials can be made in her name to Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care. Any flowers can be sent to Jamie White.
