Betty Richardson

Betty Rosalie Richardson, 78 of Townsend, Tn., formerly of Decatur passed away in her residence Saturday (April 15, 2006). Funeral services will be 11:00 am. Friday (April 21, 2006) at Concordia Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour before at the church. Burial will be in Northfork Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Blount Memorial Hospice 907 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway Maryville, Tn., 37804 or American Lung Association. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Rosalie was born in December of 1927 in Decatur, daughter of David Theodore and Maude Scammahorn Clendenen. She married Frank S. Richardson in 1947. They were charter members of Concordia Lutheran Church Decatur.

Surviving are her children, David W. Richardson & wife Karen of Decatur, Judy L. Doyle & husband Alan of Townsend, Tn., daughter-in-law, Sandy Richardson, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, brothers Joe Clendenen of Oreana, sisters, Jeanette Hoff of Decatur, Linda Price of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Thomas J. Richardson, one sister, Ruth Goldtrap, one brother, Ted Clendenen.
