AUBURN
Brenda Kay “Pinky” Auburn 77 of Decatur died Thursday October 3, 2024, at The Loft of Decatur.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am. Thursday October 10, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church Decatur with Fr. Chris Comerford Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour before the mass at the church. The burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church (407 East Eldorado Decatur, IL. 62523). Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
Brenda was born in October of 1946, in Decatur the daughter of Juanita Sims. Brenda worked as an Encoder for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of St. Patrick Parrish. Brenda married Richard Auburn, and he preceded her in death in June of 2016.
Surviving is her children, Steve Auburn, Laura King, Stephanie Auburn, Richard Auburn and David Auburn, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mom, husband and several siblings.
