Carolyn Marie Justice, 79, of Forsyth, died at 7:24 pm. Monday, December 23, 2019 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur, Illinois.\nFuneral service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2020 at Oreana Christian Church. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday also at the church. Rev. Steve Ingram will officiate. Burial will follow at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Bement Country Opry. The family requests casual attire. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.\nCarolyn was born in July of 1940 in Arrowsmith, Illinois, the daughter of William and Mary Katthoefer. Carolyn worked in billing for Decatur Ambulance Service and was a receptionist at Eagle Ridge Assisted Living. She enjoyed playing games on the computer and was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved attending events at the Bement Opry. Carolyn married John Justice June 29, 1958.\nSurviving are her daughter, Terri (Chuck) Caldwell of Lincoln, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Heather, Cody, Tyler, Lindsey, Brandon, Christina and Jack; seven great grandchildren; sister, Krystal Donovan; daughter-in-law, Nora Justice.\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim Justice and brother, William Katthoefer.
