Carolynne L. Gaultney Obituary (2017)

Carolynne L. Gaultney, 75, of Decatur, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 in St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 24, 2017 in Heartland Community Church, 3253 North Brush College Road, Decatur, Il, with Pastor Joe Bowman officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 Friday at the Church. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements. Carolynne was born in Decatur, the daughter of Harold and Jacqueline Stults. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and provider for her family. Carolynne married Donald Gaultney and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was sincerely loved and will never be forgotten. She is survived by her children Robert O’Laughlin and fiancée Becky of Peoria, Donnie Gaultney of Decatur; Richard O’Laughlin and wife Veronica of South Carolina, Michael Gaultney of Texas and Michelle Hardwick and husband Cecil of Decatur; her mother Jacqueline Heffington of Decatur; 10-grandchildren and 16-greatgrandchildren; and lifelong friend Phillip Hollgarth. Carolynne was preceded in death by her father Harold Stults, stepfather Everett Johnson, daughter Debra and son Terry.
