Charlene Wooters

Charlene Olivia Wooters, 69 of Mt. Zion, left the loving care of her family for her eternal home with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006.

Charlene was born in November of 1936 to James Douglas and Viola Stella (Wilmot) Whitney.

She was a 1954 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School. She married Wm. Robert (Bob) Wooters July 9, 1955. She retired as secretary of Long Creek Township.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, (Bob), mother, Viola Baldwin, two sons, William Robert Bud Wooters (Diane), and James Douglas Wooters (Becky), daughter, Jeri Jean Wooters, two grandsons, Chad E. Wooters and J.D. Wooters, and granddaughters, Angel R. Gentry and Rebekah L. Wooters, great grandson, Matthew Gentry, and two great granddaughters, Madison Gentry and Baylee Wooters, sister, Priscilla Wieborg and brothers Tom Baldwin and Jerry Baldwin.

She was preceded in passing by her father.

The Rev. Donald Horath will be presiding over a family graveside service Tuesday Nov. 21, 2006, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, Illinois. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Renal Care Group, St. John's Homecare, and Physicians, Dr. David Gregory, Dr. Scott Sherwood, and Dr. Mohammad Hasnain.
