Doris Hardy

Doris L. Hardy, 67 of Forsyth, IL., died Sunday (August 20, 2006) at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Illinois.

Doris was a former resident of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carmen L. Allen (Curtis) of Forsyth, IL., and Rosalee Stevenson (Ralph) of Louisville, Ky., her son, William J. Hardy (Angie) of Louisville, Ky. She was a very proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Connor, Brandon, Griffen, Madison and Morgan Allen all of Forsyth, IL., and Amanda, Paxton and Faith Hardy of Louisville, Ky. She also has one brother, Rondall W. Lowe of Bowling Green, Ky., and a sister, Patricia C. Sturdivant of Little Rock, Ar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hardy, her mother, Rachel V. Lowe, and her father, Rodney B. Lowe.

Visitation will be held at J.C. Kirby Funeral Home 820 Lovers Land Bowling Green, Ky., Thursday August 24th from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 25th at the Funeral Home with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Bowling Green, Ky.
