Dustin Marvin “Dusty” Collins 35, of Decatur, gained his wings on Sunday June 21st in a peaceful sleep at Home.\nDusty was born on January 13, 1985, the youngest son to Annette Brubeck. He graced the world alongside his sister Angela Roddy Young, Brothers, Thomas Roddy and Anthony Collins, and had an abundance of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.\nA MacArthur graduate, “Dusty D” had many talents, including writing, music, skateboarding, the cello and had a way with spiritual words. He worked for the Decatur Auction detailing cars, self created an album, and won a rap contest in Arizona. Dusty was a warm and compassionate soul that filled many with joy and laughter. Often the light in the room, or the rock in the foundation, he was the life of the party to all his soul touched, including his dog Rudy.\nTanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care will be assisting with the arrangements. The family asks to keep warm energy as they celebrate his life. Our Dustin now gets to Dance in Paradise with mom, as we share his memory.\n“Long live Dusty D.”\nPlease sign the guestbook at WWW.tanzyusloganmemorialpages.com\nThis information is given directly to the family.
