Eleanor Fenner

Eleanor Hildengard Fenner 85 of Chicago slipped from this life into eternity 12:10 a.m. Wednesday (December 24, 2003) at St. Mary's Hospital. She resided in Decatur this past year to be near her family. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday (Dec. 26) in Memory Gardens Chapel Arlington Heights with Rev. Steven Howery of Niles Community Church officiating.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery Arlington Heights, IL. Memorials to: American Cancer Society or Donor's Choice. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fenner was born in August of 1918 in Chicago daughter of Ernst and Anna Poedtke Schweizerhof. She married Raymond G. Fenner August 6, 1928, in Chicago. He preceded her in death October 23, 1985. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She did volunteer work, especially with senior services with her church St. Andrews Lutheran Church Chicago.

Surviving are her sons; Raymond Fenner (Barbara) Collierville, Tn., Earl Fenner (Faith) Terra Haute, IN., Brian Fenner Streamwood, IL., daughter; Leslie White (Rocky) Decatur, grandchildren; Leah Grays (Richard), Jennifer Auterson, Jesse Fenner all of Terra Haute, Jack White Decatur, Great grandchildren; Gabrielle, Zachary, Olivia, Paiden, Margaret, and Shayne.

Special thanks to son-in-law, Dr. Rocky White, Dr. Ben Esparaz and the staff of Cancer Care Specialist, Drs. G. Patel, H. Atluri and their office staff, and St. Mary's Hospital.

We hope that she is attending a Jewel Picnic in Heaven with all of her family who have gone on before.
