Elisa Michelle Whitehead Obituary (1966 - 2021)

Elisa Michelle Whitehead, 55 of Sullivan died at 3:53 pm. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in St. Mary’s Hospital Decatur, Illinois. Private family services will be held at a later date. If desired memorials may be made to the Moultrie County Animal Control. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with the arrangements. Elisa was born in August of 1966 in Decatur the daughter of Wendy Stortzum. She attended Christian School. Elisa loved shopping and was an avid bowler. She participated in Special Olympics and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. She worked for the Moultrie County Beacon and was a member of the Apostolic Church of Sullivan. Elisa married John F. Whitehead on May 10, 2003. Surviving is her husband, John Whitehead of Sullivan, mom and dad, Wendy (Gary) Clem of Lovington, uncle, Max Stortzum, many cousins and pen pal, Debra Patrick. She was preceded in death by her fraternal and maternal grandparents.
