Ginger Streeval Obituary (2022)

STREEVAL Ginger D. Streeval, 75, of Decatur, IL died Monday, November 7, 2022, in Decatur St. Mary’s Hospital. Ginger was born in Columbus, Indiana in April of 1947, daughter of Alvin and Rachel Streeval. Ginger graduated from Lakeview High School in 1965 and soon after married Larry Allen (Son Todd). She worked for Ameritech for many years retiring in 1994. Ginger remarried in 1985 to Wendell Johnson. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed nothing more than time with her church family. She loved animals and her constant companions Jiggy and Copper. She also loved staying in contact with family & friends and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, & friend. Ginger is survived by son Todd Allen of Decatur; sisters, Mrs. Michael (Shirley) Norris of Decatur, IL; Mrs. Charles (Kathryn) Clark of Seymore, Ind.; Mrs. Thomas (Connie) Bissell of Louisville, KY.; brother Jeffrey Streeval of Louisville, KY., best f riend Gladys Bublitz of Decatur. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be 11 A.M. Monday, November 14th at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery.
