Jimmy Stewart Seggerman II Obituary (2019)

Jimmy Stewart Seggerman II, age 68 of Decatur entered his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 beginning at 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm. at Northwest Christian Church (1306 Stanley Avenue Decatur, IL. 62526) . Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. also at the church with Pastor Steve Higgs officiating. The family request casual attire be worn at the church. Memorials may be made to Northwest Christian Church Now is the Time Fund. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements. Jimmy was born 1950 in Pekin, Illinois son of Jimmy S. and Ruth Seggerman. He was a 1968 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School. Jimmy retired from SJ Smith Welding Supply in 2013. He married Teresa Wilhelm in 1972 in Decatur. Surviving are his wife, Teresa of Decatur, son Jeff (April) Seggerman of St. Charles, MO., granddaughters, Eleanor and Addison, sisters, Sally (Steve) Denee and Sue (Chuck) Lines, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family wishes to thank the Stroke Center at Memorial Medical Center of Springfield.
