John Wesley Raney

John Wesley Raney 89, died on January 16, 2022 in his home from recent health and heart failure.

Born in November of 1932 in Champaign, IL, He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He married Betty R Conley in October of 1955.   She preceded him in May, 2017.

John worked for Teamsters for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Harris, son, David (Angela), and grandsons John and Zachary, granddaughter Katie Hill and daughter-in-law Carol.

John preceded the deaths of his wife Betty Ruth and son John Michael (Mike), as well as his parents, and siblings.

The family wants to recognize the friends he made while gathering at McDonald’s for their morning coffee.
