Juanita Irene Flaugher

Juanita Irene Flaugher 95, of Mt. Zion passed on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 4:08 am at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

A private service for family will be held at a later date. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.

Juanita was born in October of 1930, in Milmine, Illinois, daughter of J.D. and Ina Taylor. She graduated from Cerro Gordo High School, was an office manager for Flaugher Electric and member of Cerro Gordo United Methodist. Juanita married Richard Flaugher in October of 1950 and together they raised their two sons until he preceded her in death in November of 2018. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her son James E. (Deanne) Flaugher of Cerro Gordo, IL and grandson Benjamin Flaugher of Cerro Gordo.

Preceded by her parents, son Philip Flaugher and six brothers and two sisters.
