Judy Elaine (Probus) Cain Obituary (2021)

Judy Elaine (Probus) Cain, 77, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 3:46 am at her residence. There will be a family-led memorial visitation on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Macon, IL. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Macon, IL. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with arrangements. Judy was born in June of 1943 in Monticello, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Ruby Probus. She graduated high school and attended a two-year college. She worked in Medical Records at the VA Clinic and was a member of First Baptist Church in Macon, IL. Judy married John Cain in July of 1958 in Bement. She is survived by her husband, John; children: Vanessa (Keith) Stinson of LaPlace, Patti (Mark) Clow of California, Edward (Gail) Cain of LaPlace, and David (Renee) Cain of Florida; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy Metzger of Georgia. Judy was preceded by her parents, one brother Jake Probus, and one sister Elizabeth Danielson.
