Karen Maple

Karen Kay Maple 48 of Decatur died 12:31 p.m. Friday (June 30, 2006) at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday (July 6) at Faith Baptist Church 875 W. Grove Road Decatur, IL. 62521. Visitation will be 2 hours before in the church. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cody Maple. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Karen was born in January of 1958 in Decatur, daughter of William L. & Ina B. Reavis Maple. Karen was employed by Farm & Fleet for 17 years where she was the Auto Dept. head and truly enjoyed her work.

Surviving are her parents, son, Cody Maple, brothers, Steve & Diane Scales, Rocky & Teri Maple, best friend & companion, Doug Ohl, nieces Julie Johnson & Chelsea Maple, nephews, Chris Scales, Shaun Scales and Jimmy Scales, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews.

Karen was a great daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. The family request casual attire at the service.
