Wehrle (Shoot) Kathie Ann Wehrle (Shoot) passed away on September 17, 2024, in Mt.Zion, Illinois. Kathie was born on February 24, 1951, in Linton, Indiana. She spent most of her life in central Illinois where she married and had four children. She had many passions in her life, including listening to jazz music, collecting antiques, watching old movies, playing board games with her kids, reading anything she could get her hands on, and enjoying a nice cold Coca-Cola. She was the best cook and loved to bake all kinds of sweet treats; a joy that she has handed down to her daughters, and granddaughters. Her biggest passion, however, was her family. She was a fierce lover of her children and grandchildren, and they brought her immense happiness. She leaves behind her children; Kolbi (Dave) Cox of Decatur, Il., Kourtney (Nick) French of Washington, Il., and Matthew Wehrle. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren: Hannah “Hattie” Templin, Wyatt Wehrle, Owen Wehrle, Layla French, and Abigail Wehrle. We all love her to the moon and back, and miss her dearly, but we’re brought peace by knowing she’s able again to do the things she once loved, so much, in Heaven.
