Kelly Rachelle Bramel, 54 of Decatur passed on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A funeral service to celebrate Kelly’s life will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Resurrection Life Church (1085 W. McKinley Ave. Decatur, Illinois 62526). A visitation with family and friends will be an hour prior to the service at the church as well. Pastor Derek Bradshaw will be officiating. A graveside and burial will follow the services at Harristown Cemetery (215 N. Meridian St. Decatur, Illinois 62522). Memorials can be made to the charity of donor’s choice. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.

Kelly was born in October of 1972 in Decatur, daughter of Brian and Cindy Berry. She attended Maroa-Forsyth Schools. Kelly was a free spirit with a creative soul and a heart full of kindness. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed expressing her artistic side through painting, and held a special love for children and animals. Kelly’s kindness, creativity, and compassionate spirit made her truly special, and she will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her mother Cindy Berry, grandma Lois; brothers; Keith (Tonya) Berry, and Kirk (LeAnn) Berry, sister; Kasey Berry, four children; Mathew Bramel, Sesley (Dillan) Brown, Breanna Bramel, and Zackary Bramel, grandchild; Amara Brown and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded by her father Brian Berry.
