Kerrie Ward Obituary (2017)

Kerrie L. Ward, 52 of Decatur died Friday August 25, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Kerrie’s Life will be 1-4 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her parent’s home. Memorials may be made to her family. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with the arrangements. Kerrie was born in Decatur, in April of 1965, daughter of Ronda Spencer. She graduated from MacArthur High School. She enjoyed racing at Macon Speedway. Surviving are her mother, Ronda Spencer, step-dad Roy Spencer, father, Harry and wife Pat Phillips, daughter, Tiffany P. Ward, sister, Coralee Spencer, nephews, Travis and Rhyder Spencer, step-sisters, Tina Dugger and Vickie Spencer, best friend, Corina Cravens, her cat, Scrappy. Preceded in death by step-sister, Montie Wiggins. Thank you to DMH Hospice for the care given to Kerrie. “All she ever wanted was to be loved.”
