Lawrence "Slim" Lewis Obituary (2017)

Lawrence Edward “Slim” Lewis died January 19, 2017. Private family services will be held at a later date. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with the arrangements. Lawrence was born in August of 1927 son of James Paul Lewis and Eliza Jane Turner. He worked for 43 years at Mueller Company and was a very hard worker. He married Eileen and she survives. Also surviving are his children, John, David, Chuck, Rick, Vickie, Bettye, Lisa and Jennifer, step-daughter Kim and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Larry Jr., and Brad, brother, James Paul Lewis Jr., and step-son Randy. He loved retirement, hunting and fishing and his family will truly miss his stories and his ornery sense of humor.
