Lisa Ann Connolley, age 60, of Decatur, died at 2:45 am Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Fairhaven’s Christian Village after a courageous battle with cancer.\nA private service will be held at a later date to Celebrate Lisa’s life. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Wounded Warrior’s Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the family with the arrangements.\nLisa was born in January of 1958 in Decatur the daughter of Edgar and Mary Connolley. She graduated in 1976 from Moweaqua High School and graduated from Lakeland Community College, Mattoon, IL in 1978. She worked as a dental assistant for many years starting out with Dr. Jerger’s in Decatur. She loved little children.\nSurviving are her mother and step-father, Mary (Larry) Staley; sisters, Gail (Carl) Venters, Tanya Connolley (Rob Boriff), Shelli Staley; nieces and nephews, Corey Venters (Debbie), Chad Venters (Tess), Rachel Vogel (Nate), Amanda McPeak (Mark), Michael McPeak (Kelli), Jennifer McPeak, Brialynn Boriff (Tyler), Courtney Boriff; five great nieces and six great nephews.\nShe was preceded by her father and grandparents.
