All Services have been postponed due to weather\nJeannie ,“MJ”, Momma J Doering , age 79, passed away January 11,2022 due to complications from brain cancer. She was born in August of 1942 to Walter and Verna Haupt.\n\nJeannie loved people and the outdoors. She absolutely LOVED sitting on her porch, visiting with friends and family , watching the bird and squirrel feeders. Her home has ALWAYS been an open door for anyone in need or just to hang out. She would laugh with you, cry with you but her most favorite was to give advice - even when you thought you didn’t need or want it and she was usually right…She was THE BEST mom, grandma and friend anyone could ever want or ask for. Her laugh was so contagious it hurt. She had many trials in her life only to become stronger and more resilient. Her Faith in Jesus Our Loving Savior was so strong, she believed everything happened for a reason and something good would come out of it, to Pray, every answer was to Pray about it. She had the most giving, compassionate heart. She worked for many years at Youth Advocate as a social worker brining families back together again.\n\nShe was proceeded in death by her brother Bill Haupt, parents Walter and Verna Haupt and her love Bobby Keenan “My Bobby”\n\nJeannie is survived by her daughter Lori Baietto (Joe) Decatur, Julie Sloan (Steve) Lincoln, Rob Gibbens (Kim) Lincoln, many grand and great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart and more.\n\nFamily and friends please join us for graveside services Saturday January 22,2022 at 11:00 at Boiling Springs Cemetery Decatur, Illinois with an Open House Celebration of Life from 12:30-2:30 …4140 Fort Daniels Road Decatur,Illinois\n\nShe was a member of Antioch Christian Church Long Creek, Illinois.
