Ronald Eric Ekiss

Ronald “Eric” Ekiss, 60 of Decatur died Monday, July 15, 2019 in his residence.
Memorial service to celebrate Eric’s life will be 1:00 pm. Friday July 19, 2019 at Heartland Community Church with Pastor Joe Bowman officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to his family. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting with the arrangements.
Eric was born in May of 1959 to Ronald G. and Vivian M. Ekiss. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor MFG. for over thirty-five years. Eric married Konni Fry in September of 2013.
Surviving are his wife Konni Ekiss, sons, Zach Ekiss, Joshua Ekiss, mother, Vivian Ekiss, brothers, Jeffrey Ekiss and Mark (Stephanie)  Ekiss, step-children, Andy (Tiffanie) Lynch, Deana Lynch and Clint Lynch, several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
