Rosie Lee Beard (Nash) of Decatur, IL went on to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2020.\n\nRosie was born in Minister City, MS, to Rosevelt Nash and Grasie Battle. Later in life she moved to Decatur, IL where she married Roy Beard, Sr. As owner of her own Landscaping Service and Rental Properties, she kept herself busy many years.\n\nThere will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements.\n\nRosie loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching church programs, westerns, listening to gospel music, and reading her Bible. She had a smile so bright and a laugh that was adored.\n\nSurviving are her children: Rochester Nash, Roy Martin, Rosetta Martin Elizabeth Martin, Alexander Martin (Pam), Lisa Ingram (Wayne), and Emma Lee Beard-Gilliam. Grandchildren are: Stephinee Coleman-Freeman (Nick), Damichael Beard, Wayne Ingram Jr., Qwayne Ingram and Tina Martin. Great-Grandchildren are: Makaylah, Makylah, Makyah, Demetrius, Darrius, Demontre, Keondra, Quayden, Jamarea, Jamarion, and Ariell.\n\nShe was preceded by her husband, parents, and son, Bobby Earl Martin.\n\nRosie will be greatly missed by never forgotten.
