Sharon Rose Davis, 77, of Decatur died at 2:29 pm. Friday, May 17, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family.\nSharon was born in October of 1941 in Ramsey Illinois. She was the daughter of John E. and Lottie R. Holman. Sharon married Kennard (Kenny) Davis in August of 1959.\nSharon was a homemaker and loved her children greatly. She is survived by her husband, three daughters Brenda (Dana) Hite of Forsyth, Lynn (Barry) Jacobs and Angie (Martin) Boehm of Decatur; Son Michael Davis of Decatur. She also had many grandchildren; Jason and Nicole Jacobs, Demi Jacobs, Kaleb and Sammi Hite, Jesse and Emilie Hite, Beaux Boehm, and Seth Davis; Great-grandchildren Sammy Walsh, Charlie Marie Hite, and Taren Bennet.\nSharon was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Davis; Parents John and Lottie; step-parents Jim and Ivy Hall; Brother Delano Holman, and sister Shirley Cullins.\nA Graveside service to Celebrate Sharon's Life will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia Illinois at 1 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2019.\nTanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
