Theresa Maria Williams, 63, of Decatur, passed away in her home on October 7, 2025.

A family led celebration of life will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, October 18, at the Harristown Town Hall (190 N. Meridian St Harristown, Illinois 62537).Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting with the arrangements.

She was born in November of 1961 in Quincy, and raised in Harristown, daughter of Gerald and Margaret Williams. Theresa was a graduate of Richland Community College with a degree in horticulture and a member of St. Patrick’s Church. She was a collector of all things that she thought she could get use out of and was always the photographer and baker for family get togethers. Theresa enjoyed the simpler things like taking the back roads and enjoying nature. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren any chance she got. Theresa will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Theresa is survived by her brothers Bruce (Tina), Alan (Kelly), Steven (Darby), and Chris; her daughter Danielle, her grandchildren Nickthaniel and Margaret, and brother-in-law Kevin Hill.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Margaret, and her sister Patricia.
