Tony Blaine Bracken, 55, of Wheat Ridge Colorado (formerly of Decatur, Illinois), passed away in his home on July 27, 2018.\nA private funeral service was held at Friends Creek Cemetery to celebrate the life of Tony on August 3, 2018.\nTony was born November 1962 in Decatur Illinois to Donald D. Bracken and Marilyn J. Bracken. Tony graduated from Lakeview High School in 1980 and completed a four year apprenticeship in the Sheet Metal Workers Local 218D, achieving journeyman status.\nIn 1989 Tony relocated to the beautiful state of Colorado. He truly enjoyed riding his motorcycle in the Rocky Mountains and spending time with his beloved dogs Ming and Rocky. While in Colorado, he made many new friends and they all enjoyed outdoor activities and taking in the majestic scenic views. Tony was an avid sports fan who especially loved the Chicago Bears. Tony was a car and truck enthusiast and loved the rumble of his HEMI engines especially his Harley’s.\nTony was so thankful for all the help from his Mom and Dad during his battle with cancer that words could not express how grateful he was.\nTony is survived by his parents, Don and Marilyn of Mechanicsburg, brother, and sister-in-law, Craig Bracken (Lisa) of Illiopolis and niece, Kelly Bracken of Niantic.\nTony was an amazing son, brother and uncle and he will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.\nTanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
