Treva M Kuhn Obituary (2019)

Treva Marie Kuhn, 86, died October 23, 2019 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Memorial service to celebrate Treva’s life will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 26, 2019 at First Christian Church. Visitation will be one hour before service time at the church. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery Argenta, Illinois. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements. Treva was born in October of 1933 in LaPlata, Missouri the daughter of William and Velma (Summers) Bowen. She was a hard worker owning her own beauty salon. She deeply loved her family. Treva enjoyed watching sports, owls and hummingbirds. She loved playing cards with friends, vacationing with family and growing flowers. She was married to Allen Kuhn for forty-seven years. He preceded her in death. There is comfort in knowing they have been reunited in Heaven. Surviving are her sons, Russell (Diane) Kuhn, Mark (Leanne) Kuhn, grandchildren, Lori (Joe) Thompson, Rachel (Zach) Singleton, Alex Kuhn, Lindy Kuhn, great grandchildren, Jathan Thompson, Joel Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Jack Bowen. Treva had many friends and was well known for her playful attitude and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed.
