William Eugene Goin Jr., “Bill” 65, of Decatur died 7:51 pm. Sunday November 19, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. A private service and burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Oasis 243 W. Cerro Gordo Street Decatur, IL. 62522. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. Bill was born May 24, 1952 in Belleville, Illinois, son of William E. and Katherine( Butler) Goin. Bill graduated from MacArthur High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force 1966 to 1975. He was a cook at Tops Big Boy and several other local restaurants. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was preceded by his parents, brother, Richard and sister, Carol.
