Janice “Jan” Webner 1942-2017

17084Janice Ruth (Jan) Webner, 75 of Decatur died at 12:45 am. Sunday, August 13, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service to celebrate Jan’s life will be 11:30 am. Wednesday August 16, 2017 at Lifebuilders Church of God ( 833 West Pershing Road Decatur, Il. 62526). Pastor Tim Lusitana will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 am. to 11:30 am. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be 2 pm. at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. Memorials may be made to the family or charity of choice. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.

Janice was born in June of 1942 in Louisville, KY., daughter of Thomas C. and Mildred (Lingelbaugh) Schroerlucke. She attended two years of college and was a minister.

Surviving are her children: James (Debra) Johnson, Marion Center, Pennsylvania, Jeanna (Sam) Funk, Bloomington, IL., Jerry (Diane) Johnson, Lake Stevens, WA., Jackie Pierce, Louisville, KY., Jayson (Connie) Johnson, Denham Springs, LA., Jonathan (Amy) Johnson, Louisville, KY., twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Webner.

Emma M. Burchard 2002-2017

17083Emma Marie Burchard, 15 of Decatur, IL began her Heavenly adventure on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

A funeral to celebrate Emma’s life will be 10:00 am. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Central Baptist Church (945 S. Jasper Street Decatur, IL.) with Pastor Dave Brown officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. also at the church. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Emma’s family to help with a memorial marker for her gravesite. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.

Emma was born in April of 2002 in Springfield, IL., daughter of John and Jennifer Burchard. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.  Emma had a love for people and was a friend to so many.  She loved art and was granted an Honorary Art Therapist Certificate at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Surviving are her parents, John and Jennifer Burchard, siblings, Samuel, Sarah, Grace and Hannah Burchard all of Decatur, grandparents, Debra Burchard, Tom and Jean Wright.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather John Edward Burchard.

The family wishes to thank their Central Baptist Church Family, Calvary Baptist Church (Coldwater, MS), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Nurses, Doctors and Staff that helped Emma and our Family) The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, TN., and the QOLA Hospice Team of Memphis, TN for all the loving kindnesses and support given to Emma and the family during this difficult time.
