Funeral Cost Explained

Funeral costs can be expensive, and can range from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars. The cost of a funeral can be affected by a variety of factors, including the type of funeral service, the location of the funeral, and the type of casket or urn.

At Tanzyus-Logan, we believe in being open and honest about all divisions of service.

Funeral costs are dependent on many factors. The following items will be a helpful list when you are comparing like items for your funeral needs:

Professional Fees of Directors & Staff and Location of Service and the type of Service:

  • Full Traditional Service with Burial or Cremation to follow
  • A Contemporary Gathering
  • A Graveside Service
  • A Memorial Ceremony…
  • A Simple Cremation or something Beyond the Ordinary like “Remembering the Ride” Motorcycle - drawn Hearse

Because we let you decide what is best for your family and budget, it would be impossible for us to give an exact quote by phone or email, without first getting a better idea of your unique situation and needs. It is for this reason that we suggest a meeting with one of our caring funeral directors or knowledgeable and licensed pre-need service staff. Working with you at your convenience, with no added pressure or expected obligation, at our offices or comfortably within your own home. That initial meeting will help you define what you have in mind AND supply you with a real figure that accurately reflects the true cost to you. Since we are a funeral service company and not a traditional funeral home, our overhead charges are less overall and we are able to pass on substantial savings to the families we serve.

Thank you so much for everything you did. I could not have imagined a more beautiful service. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to you.
